Traditionally, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) names are anchored on the Ethereum mainnet. However, this often incurs high gas fees, an impediment to efficiency and scalability. The gas fees, required for transaction processing and updating data on the blockchain, often pose significant barriers to efficiency and scalability, (especially in bull markets, with high activity and limited scalability), making operations costly for users and developers alike.
